On October 9, 2009 our daughter was diagnosed w/Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis - the journey didn't start that day, but it did make a big turn.

Why this picture and What is Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis?
This picture of her is from Feb 2009 during a bonescan, when this journey started. Her stubborn 5 year old self willed her way to stay perfectly still so she wouldn't have yet another injection....it worked. My wish for her is that her stubbornness will help her through and ease this journey.
